This is a heartfelt “Amen” to Shaun Mullen’s post below, with my own takes that can be read here and here.
If you have a strong opinion about Gov. Palin’s qualifications, PBS offers you a chance to vote on the question here.

Voting on Sarah Palin’s qualifications?
Hmmm……let’s see. She went against her own party to expose corruption, she reduced spending by getting rid of unnecessary frills and she stood up to the oil companies to the benefit of Alaska’s citizens.
Obama, on the other hand, has……………………………made a speech.
no longer bothering with your talking point tripe, jwest

The biggest scandal of our time is the housing and financial melt down.
The biggest receiptient of hush money from Fannie and Freddie is Barak Obama.
in 2005 John McCain co sponsored a bill that would have seriously regulated Fannie and Freddie and prevented this entire meltdown. Its Major Opponent? Barak Obama.
We want to vote on qualifications to run for president? No lets spend all our time deflecting the issue to Sarah Palin while we all pretend that Barak Obama has great Judgment.
Where is Ron Paul when you need him.

Let's see Palin:
Billed taxpayers in Alaska for 300 days spent at home.
Thinks looking at Russia across the Bering Sea counts as foreign policy experience
Bills herself as a reformer, but refuses to appear at her own ethics investigation
Bills herself as a reformer but still supports Ted Stevens.
Flip-flopped on the Bridge To Nowhere, then lied about it on the campaign trail.

Don't forget, the earth is only 6000 years old and Alaska is the last refuge after the rapture!!! Getch'yer house in order PRONTO!!!!! The harvest is nigh!!!!

jwest: "She went against her own party to expose corruption" (So she could become governor and be just as corrupt as the folks she kicked out), "she reduced spending by getting rid of unnecessary frills" (yeah, I love that tanning bed and she billed the taxpayers a per diem for staying in her own home), "and she stood up to the oil companies to the benefit of Alaska’s citizens." (meantime the increased taxes she imposed on those oil companies are being passed along to the people who buy the oil from those companies, meaning we in the lower 48 pay higher prices.... I'm so glad you like high gas prices allowing Alaskans to be the fourth richest state per capita.)
