  1. Silhouette says:

Oh I loved Bush's “reassurance” today…letting the public know what kind of a grasp his administration has on economics…

“I learned..heh..from the uh..from the uh..”experts” that our situation is real important. Turns out, our economy *locks his fingers together like a the kids' game “church and steeple”* is linked together.” And come to find out…uh…when the market tumbles..it uh…it hurts the common man.”

Excellent. The leader of the free world just figured out that market elements are linked and that the common worker is at the bedrock of its foundation!

Progress, not perfection…. Yes, I was exactly like the man in the cartoon. When Bush came on to “reassure us”, I knew it was time to panic.

This is just an aside, but our president has narcissistic personality disorder or NPD. If you read up on the disorder, it's hallmarks are being out of touch with reality, unaccountability, complete disregard for others, self worship and a host of other disturbing personality features that GW Bush exhibits like a textbook case.

Impeachment may be too late, but might I suggest keeping him away from the cameras in these troubled times? NPD sufferers are great at looking so out of touch with reality at times that it is alarming. We don't need alarm right now. What we need is calm.

Also, might I suggest a Constitutional Amendment, you know, while we're overhauling our entire system to a socialist one out of panic, instead of injecting small amounts of socialist control when we still had time.. might I suggest that an Amendment have language that requires not only the age of 35 to be President, but also an education at the college level that includes a passing grade average of “B” or better in economics, political science and maybe (from McCain's recent comments) a minor in geography?

    Just a suggestion.
