Maybe, if we're lucky, all this money that the candidates are raising can be spent on financing some of this new debt we're getting into. I wouldn't count on it though. AIG has been playing the back-alley CDO (Collateralized Debt Obligation) game hard and on the edge just like the other troubled financial companies.
