Palin and McCain lie all the time. Last night I was with 4 twentysomething guys, that is young males. They are not registered to any party, because like so many 20 somethings, they feel they will vote on an issue by issue person to person basis. We are in Western New York, but they see Palin as a total fraud being protected by the Media.

They asked two questions, rhetorical, but worth asking:

1. What would happen if a Democratic candidate had Sarah Palin's biography, kid's names, family history, lack of knowledge. How would the Media and conservative commentators (I apologize for the redundancy but I am reporting what they think) speak about a Democratic Party version of Sarah Palin?

They think we would never hear the end of how silly she is and how much of an insult it is to be offered this silly person just because she is a woman.

Second, they asked, "What if Hillary Clinton made so many statements about who she was and what she did that were such blatant lies?"

What would National Review make of a foreign trip that included two fuel stops as trips to those countries? What would the whole Media and the right wing establishment say of Sarah's claiming to visit Iraq by looking over the Kuwait border?

Care to speculate what Jonah Goldberg would say about a similarly acting 'democrat' Sarah?

p.s. my wife and I, life long Liberals, considered voting for the 2000 McCain. The saddest story in recent years is John McCain selling his honor on e-Bay.

I'm sorry, but this qualifies as lying. Everyone knows what it means to visit or travel in a country. To land in a country or walk to the border do not qualify as visits or travels. If you are a native speaker of English, this qualifies as deception.
