Can you guess who's narrowly interpreting the law? Hint: it's in the first sentence of the second paragraph.
Not that I'm a McCain fan - just a moderate fella trying to take it ALL in.

Doubled post...apologies!

One of your esteemed staff writers should take up a new journal on the schenanigans that will escalate as we approach November. There should be an ongoing compilation of all the GOP sheist attempts that snowball. In other words, just keep adding to the list making it longer and longer. As it grows, the case against the GOP will too...

Wisconsin Disenfranchises Voters. Felons and Dead Hardest Hit
OK, I backed up the unreasonableness of the Michigan Republican attempt to dis-allow foreclosed voters from voting.
Who from the other side is going to stand up to the "narrow interpretation of Ohio law" by Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner?

I guess in this modern day world of technology, putting a check mark in a box can be a fairly daunting task.
On the other hand, if the box isn't needed, then why put it there in the first place? And why is the McCain campaign sending these ballots out? Shouldn't all of them be the same for everyone, regardless of party?
Rambie
Why is either campaign involved in printing and mailing Absentee Ballots?!
That should NOT be the campaign's duty but the state's responsibility.

Austin Roth, I am with you on this.
This is the fault of a knuckleheaded moronic idiotic stupid fool of a Democrat--the official who made the "narrow" ruling.
Although I completely agree with Rambie--This should be the duty of the state, not of any candidate.
Easy folks. These aren't absentee ballots. They're requests for absentee ballots. Both campaigns are sending them to increase early voting. I am for as many people as possible getting to vote, and I'd go along with AR on the "narrow interpretation" business. But what cuteness made McCain send it out this way? Did he have to put his logo on it or something? The official and correct ballot request forms are available for free from the counties. Why did McCain have to print his own, and how pathetic are they that they couldn't copy a friggin form without messing up??
