That the media would treat her with kid gloves? That everyone would show her "deference" and not bother to investigate her past, her record, and any clue to her policy positions? She wants to be Vice President of the United States - of course people are curious about her. If she and McCain had truly been prepared for this announcement, they would have been ahead of every controversial story about her, instead of whining to the press that the big bad liberal media is bullying poor little Sarah. Either she's a tough hockey mom who can roll with the big boys, or she's an inexperienced hack forced to hide behind cries of sexism because she has nothing else to stand on.
