The Comedy Central gang had fodder for a terrific week. As a freshly-minted small town guy, I’ll start with their “best news team on the planet” finding out what small town values really mean at the RNC:

Not to be outdone, Stephen Colbert had Adam Brickley explain how he influenced the pick of Sarah Palin from his mom’s house:

A Georgian, I have to include Stephen calling our own Republican Representative Lynn Westmoreland “a stupid cracker.” Then proving it:

Finally, Colbert’s Green Screen Challenges are a brilliant Internet-age marketing ploy. With McCain accepting the nomination in front of a green screen, Stephen implores his viewers to Go Nuts:

    You didn't include “Sarah Palin Gender Card”- the one that's gotten over two million hits. Believe me- there's a reason why.

    I love the daily show,

    Exposing stupid punditry whether it be Karl Rove oon the right or Bob Herbert on the left is always a funny thing to watch.

    I'm from a small town and hope to live in one again. The small town segment was hilarious. As for the fake McCain bio, good and bad.
