Here in Detroit, people are relived to happy the scumbag mayor is going to jail. His government is enagaged in Shaun-style tactics while Patrick is still in office: Two reporters (critical of the mayor) were barred from entering public proceedings and when asked why, faced with lies and threats. In other words, Shaun-level behavior these days.

I assume that Shaun will someday soon be able to blame George Bush for the Truthers.

Maybe Shaun should just be honest and that now elections are about getting as much government for yourself and your clan/tribe/extended family groups while sticking the other guy with the bill.

I guess Shaun forgot to take his Lithium and Xanax today. Of course, it is kind of hard to argue that the Democratic party is such a great deal the day after the Democratic mayor of Detroit (a political body largerin population than Alaska ) was sent to jail.

Maybe if Senator Obama had not decided to run a 50% plus one campaign there would be no real contest in 2008. The Republicans would not have a chance if the Democratic party would decide that rewarding Unions, blacks, and public sector employees was more important than governing.
