Ms. Justicia,

Quite a few accusations there regarding McCain and Palin. Can you give us specific examples of McCain being against womens rights? and how about some specifics regarding your charge that the Republicans dont believe in a middle class. Have you looked at the Bush taxes cuts and how they cut across all economic/income levels? The high gas prices and recent current sluggish ecomony notwithstanding, just how have the Republicans directly affected your life that has caused you any economic pain. Do you believe your taxes are too low?
Do you actually believe that Bush is responsible for high gas and food prices? Dont you think the Dem controlled Congress should bare a share of the blame for
your percieved class divisions rich vs poor? and finally just how is McCain against equal pay for equal work? Tell us a specific example. Im sure if you want Govt. to control more and more of your life then Im sure you will find some explanation that makes sense to you. Id like to hear it. And as to your defining the exact meaning of a Maverick, and attaching it to McCain; surely you understand the term is a metaphor for someone who is independent in their thoughts and actions. Just as the Democrat Partys' icon is the Donkey, and with Sen. Obama being the current head of such Party, and taking a look at actual definitions for the word Donkey, Im sure you would concur that could also mean Obama is the "head" Democrat..... Ass(?)

Oh, and please give a specific example of Sarah Palin's religious beliefs and how she has imposed them on anyone or even proposed having you or anyone else suffer her beliefs. And Obama? 20 years a member in what any reasonable person would say, was a Church noted for a pastor, close to Obama, claiming "God-D$#&* America. Claiming that the Govt. gave AIDS to the Black man and on and on, you know the drill. Shouldnt Sen. Obama who refused to distance himself from such a hate-filled person, until it became
absolutely imperative for his political survival give you pause and concern as to just what Mr.Obama's true beliefs are and how those beliefs might manifest themselves once he is in the Oval Office? If you are concerned about Ms.Palin's surely you want to consider and be concerned about Mr. Obama's........

Dont you?

GD

I think the speech that Sarah Palin gave was very good, she read her speech quite well. She e xplained, who she is and her accomplishments, and introduced us to her family. That was the best part of her speech, but from there it was nothing but devisiveness.

Barack Obama has spent the past 18 or 19 months promoting unity and togetherness, and here she comes with nothing but division. The Republican Party is all about division, the Rich and the Poor!!...No Middle Class!!

A "Maverick" which everyone want to call Palin and McCain, is NOT such a good thing! A "Maverick" is a unbranded, unharnessed, animal, running freely, doing damage wherever they roam! They have no home and have no allegiance to anyone, sometimes, not even to themselves! A "Maverick" also makes quick, jerky, moves, most of the time without considering the ramifications of those moves, as McCain has exhibited with his "knee jerk" decison choosing Palin as his running mate, done only with the intent to try and overshadow the Outstanding conclusion of the Democratic Convention.

Just imagine "two" Mavericks, who always want to be the "leader" and who find it difficult to follow, in a position of such enormous power!!! Geez!!

We say that Church and State should be separated, but if you allow Ms. Palin and McCain to get into office, you will be judged by Ms. Palin's religious beliefs, not even your own!!........God forbid!!!
Remember, just because McCain added Palin to his ticket, his issues remain the same, and he is grossly against Women's Rights, i.e., Equal Pay for Equal Work, to name one!
There is REALLY NO Change!!...He's Just added a Woman!!

GreenDreams, You think several years as a South Chicago community activist/organizer stacks up against someone like Palin, with the executive experience she has? Can you tell us just what Obama has accomplished, other than winning his election to US Senate. Tell me three things he has truly accomplished that would be equivalent to Palin's. And GreenDreams, Im guessing you would have no problem hiring Obama to work for you. Given that assumption on my part.,what qualifications do you see in Obama that would make you want to hire him for your Co. Fast talking salesman? that might work. Come on! Barack Obama is where he is because he is black, he is an eloquent speaker(when in front of a teleprompter) and the Dems had a belly full of the Clintons and didnt have the guts to turn away from a black man, that they all knew and know in their heart of hearts, wasnt nowhere near qualified to be Pres. Now I acknowledge a similar argument can be proffered about Palin, but when you stack them against each other Obama just doesnt have the resume or overall professional life and experiences. as Palin So can you give me another reason why you'd vote for Obama even if he was a no-count mule. And what kind of Co. do you run/own ;that you wouldnt hire someone like Palin for a position with same? Im guessing given your moniker, "GreenDreams" an environmental Co. Maybe? Sorry you seem to be so disgruntled. Let me leave you with this little hint. After Palin's speech. Your disgruntlfication is gonna get worse. So better get used to it !! I refer you to this brief YouTube Video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nBdH7emDj0&feat...

Dont you just love this blog stuff!!!

GD

Is it best for the US to have two self-proclaimed "mavericks" - one older with much experience, one younger with little to none - leading in an increasingly unpredictable world? Think about it, folks.

Uh, no Gilbertdean, I have previously commented on her 1.5 years of experience as governor of a state with 1/8 the population of Obama's home town. No dice. I wouldn't hire such a greenhorn to run a department in my company, let alone the whole thing. You think 1.5 years is enough for the biggest job in the country? Sheesh.

P.S. Ad hominem attacks don't work here. Knock it off.
