We are going to be 500 billion in the hole in 2009. We spend 10 billion a month extra for all military operations…..NOT per week. Assuming we pull completely out of Iraq next Feburary that could save us 120 billion per year. BUT 1st we are still not planning on pulling out of Afghanistan which costs us roughly about 3 billion per month maybe more since Obama and McCain both seem to want to do a John Wayne there now as well.

So by my calulations………we are now about 420 billion in the hole. Obama wants to add about 120 billion dollars per year in new programs.

Great. He wants to tax the rich but THEN give it back to the middle class. Great.

Your numbers make about as much sense as does Obama's. We are still going to be roughly 540 billion in the hole and if the economy tanks it will be more then that.

I repeat. Where are is Obama going to get his money.

If you stop spending 10 BILLION dollars a week in Iraq… That's $520 BILLION A YEAR the OBAMA Administration will have made available for the REAL problems that all Americans face.

I'm not going anywhere for Labor Day weekend because I am flat broke after paying my electric bill, filling up my car and paying my subprime mortgage (I must be one of the few who is still able to keep up with my payments… but barely.)

Last Labor Day, I took a 12-hour roadtrip to visit my sister and her family for my 2-year old niece's birthday and to see my newborn nephew for the first time. Can't afford it this year; can't even afford presents right now.

President Bush will have to excuse my skepticism as I send my 3-year old niece a free eCard instead of being able to watch her blow out her birthday candles and turn 3.

What is he going to do to end this horrible, terrible economy that 95 percent of All Americans live in.

What will he do to balance the budget. Oh thats right hes just going to spend more money then the GOP. ITS HIS TURN.

Other then spending 150 billion dollars on windmills what is he going to do about OIL. HOW is spending 150 billion on windmills going to eliminate our dependence on foreign oil. Explain please.

The economy is horrid. People went and bought homes for twice what they could afford and they now have lost them. Other people WHO WOULD NEVER IN THEIR LIFETIMES because of bad credit were given an opportunity to buy a home……SOMETHING THE DEMOCRATS HAVE ALWAYS PINED FOR but failed America.

A recession occurs every 5 to 8 years. This one took 6 years. Why? Because we insist on borrowing money to pay our bills.
