Dave Heineman is the type of Repubican that will ensure that the Republican remain irrelevant until they finally disband. Instead of adopting a position supported by most Americans, Governor Dave Heineman wants to continue the process where the State of Nebraska has separate and unequal treatment of people because of their race or ethnicity.

The University of Nebraska Affirmative Action homepage blatants says that even though the law requires equal treatment, it will hold certain minorities to a lesser standard. I guess the governor has not read recent Supreme Court decisions nor the law. I guess he is more worried about what his friends will say when he takes his children to private school than what most of the voters will say.
