True, but not for tonight. Michelle Obama gave one of the best convention speeches I've seen in a long time. Tomorrow is the night for attacking.

Don't worry. They'll do plenty of GOP-, Bush-, and McCain-bashing this week.

_More_importantly_, they'll hopefully express what they intend to offer us instead — as the week progresses, don't just settle for typical lib-Dem feel-good or naive pie-in-the-sky stuff. Let's at least hear hints at what they intend to do, especially as they are likely to run Washington starting next year.

It's a more suitable use of Hillary Clinton than just touchy-feely “Clinton voter catharsis, we deserve at least Symbolic [tm] recognition” foolishness. I'm looking forward to Her Majesty's speech and I hope she starts getting that shrill tone and goes on the warpath against the Evil Republicans.

This convention, we can look forward to, complete with big-bet outdoor-spectacle highlight speech by Obama to kick his campaign into full speed later this week. An otherwise waste of time is interesting this year. Meanwhile, what to expect with the GOP convention? A funeral atmosphere, full of bleating, and feeble or just angry attacks on Obama and the Dems? Libs and Dims might actually be looking forward to that GOP convention with perverse pleasure.
