What is the deal with Ed Rendell?
A couple of weeks ago, Ed Rendell was trying to stop supporters of Senator Clinton from signing a petition to put her name in nomination.
Yesterday, Rendell was all over the media expressing his outrage that Senator Clinton was dissed by the MSM. Is Rendell supporting Clinton or not? Will he vote for her on the first ballot if her name is placed in nomination? Does this guy have a semblance of loyalty beyond political expediency?
Inquiring minds are waiting to know…

I know Ed Rendell well. On balance, he is a terrific guy. But he has spent half his political career hopping on one foot and the other half hopping on the other foot.
It's also a head scratcher because he was head over heals in love with the Biden pick during his MSNBC interview on Saturday. I love Eddie as well but he tends to be on the same side as whoever is interviewing him.
(Love him on Comcast as an Eagles color guy!)
This isn't about Clinton, nor about Obama. Ed Rendell is all about Ed Rendell. Nothing more, nothing less.
Maybe Rendell is angry because he could have been Clinton's VP selection.
Fast Eddy has made a career out of determining which way the wind was blowing and getting in front of it.
Does he know something?
