I'll agree with you with one caveat:

Lieberman's bootlicking of McCain (to use a more polite expression) and his betrayal of his Party, his fellow Democrats, and his principles just to get elected (vice president) are almost as bad, or worse, than McCain's "willingness to say or do anything to get elected."

Even Joe Lieberman fails to share John McCain's most dominant trait: a willingness to say or do anything to get elected.
