If you look back to the country's history, mainlfy focusing about the relationship with Russia during the last century, you will easily come to the conclusion, that Russia is the true big asshole in this game.

I do not buy the conventional wisdom that Georgia is innocent and Russia is evil. This has been sold to the gullible media hook, line and sinker by the neocons.
You'd think after the Iraq fiasco that the press would have learned a lesson and not to fall so easily for the bellicose and tough guy talk by the right. But, as always they rolled over for them and are parroting the usual neocon spin provided to them by McCain and Bush.
Unfortunately, the press is either unwiling or unable to scratch underneath and tell the people about McCain's little adivser who is a lobbyist for the Georgian government. How conviiiiiiiiiiientent.
Or that the International Tribune reported on July 15th that US troops were over there working with Georgian troops.
Nor do they even think that there must be something a little suspicious of the fact that after Poland was so against Bush's toys being put in their backyard that they suddenly caved this week.
the failure of our media in refusing to take off their rose colored glasses in regard to McCain and their stubborn insistence in giving him a completely free ride will probably result in another 4 years of failure and suffering for us and the rest of the world.
