I hope that whoever is playing the Silhouette character is having a good chuckle, because it would be just too sad if this was real.

"And now even The New York Times is on the case, prying the lid off of an elaborate cover-up scheme hatched with the help of a bevy of attorneys in the days before the Iowa caucuses when rumors of Edwards’ dalliance ran rampant."

********

Anyone? Does this sound familiar to ANYONE..? The exact twin unfurling?

Nothing? Nothing about a story that is supposed to be just BS rumor and smear-tactics like the Edwards one last year before Iowa?

Any bells?

I was living in Chicago where Tommy Burns spilled the beans to Munson et al. and the story had a lot of local resonance, as Burns murdered a lot of horses in Chicagoland. Lisa/Rielle may have drawn a bad daddy in the game of life, but she herself is a classic manipulator/hedonist who conned a rube who thought he was the prettiest smartest dude around and wrapped him around her [ring] finger. I recall the YouTube of John-Boy the one-trick pony combing his hair for the longest time to the strains of "I feel pretty..."

That reminded me of an anecdote I heard/read of John Kerry's being in the green room of some talk show with a senior Repub operator. Although there were five political mojo types in the room, Kerry spent fifteen minutes in front of the mirror primping his hair compulsively without saying a word to anyone else in the room. It was 2003, I believe, and at that moment, the Repub operative realized that this man would be easy to beat if nominated.

And he was.
