I think Powell is being very smart and staying away from Dumb and Dumber.

Smart man that Powell. If he ran, I would've voted for him in a heartbeat..

Maybe he wants to endorse Hillary?

If McCain has a chance of win, endorsements may be relevant. But since McCain has zero chance of winning, who cares?

Also, since Powell appears to have zero political aspirations for the future, who cares what he does. He is just another inside-the-beltway type living off of past glories.
