I have no problem with a group that tells me when things are good or bad for me, but when they adopt the superior attitude and seek to force me to eat the way they want to then it tends to annoy me.

I'm with ya, Patrick. My diet isn't really that horrible, either, with the exception of the holidays when fudge and cookie making isn't just a tradition, it's a sacred ritual. I don't really overeat, I just need to exercise more which I'm also working on.

It's not so much fast food, as the way it is marketed. You can actually now get salads and lighter fare at most of the same places, but they want you to buy the juicy, yummy crap that is their trademark. I, too, need to buy their juicy, yummy, gooey crap from time to time.

These health problems have economic consequences.

I hate to break it to these people but we KNOW the food at these places is bad for us (is there anyone over the age of 10 who does not ?)

There must be a shitload of people above the age of 10 who DON'T KNOW.
