I don't get what your trying to say. He was talking about the NYT. I showed and example of the LA times doing the same thing.

If he is saying that the papers should creatively screen posts for accuracy then they are just going to stop allowing comments. To me this is akin to outlawing and thus trying to be the media police.

But what doesn't make any sense is taking six days to publish a correction. Six days in these times is forever. Hell, six hours might as well be forever, too. Assuming the time frame is accurate, there's nothing at all, really, that excuses how long it took Army Times to push out the correction.

It should've been six minutes.

Conservatives try daily to have the NYTimes correct or retract blatantly false articles, but they are oblivious.

When corrections finally appear, it’s weeks later after the maximum amount of damage has already been done.
