Edwards already was not particularly helpful to Kerry in 2004, and I doubt he would bring in too many voters who were not already planning on voting for Obama. Obama needs to pick someone who balances out his weak points, which are a lack of foreign policy experience and military service. Sen Jim Webb would help in both of these areas; Gov Richardson would help in the first area. Even big-mouthed Biden would be a better choice than Edwards, altho I think he will probably get the Sec of State or Def slot. <br><br><br>With that said, IMHO<br>the dream ticket is still Obama/Clinton--- because it would be the best unifying move for Democrats and would ensure that Bill Clinton was not sabotaging the nominee.
