We now have big RNC donors who oppose abortion and gay rights in career positions in the DOJ. That sets a very dangerous precedent for those who follow Bush. For how long can citizens expect fairness in their justice system???

The Democratic party used to be against central banks, they used to be for slavery, they used to be a lot of things they aren't today. Ancient party politics don't bind current Democratic or Republican politicians.

If we want to set the rules in stone now, let it be so. Jail time for anyone caught hiring someone for a public position due to their political views. We will see an explosion in prison construction in the next four years.
