“President Bush thought the cameras were off. “

You watched this video and concluded that Bush actually thought the cameras were turned off? Did the laughter directly after he said “I ask you to turn off the TV cameras” make you wonder if he was making a joke?

I realize the reporterette on the video thought she was breaking top secret news, but surely you knew better.

Read the piece at HuffPost cited below.

I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Of course that was HuffPost’s take on the video, but I’ve read your articles and I refuse to believe that you would lend your credibility to that interpretation.

All video clips should be viewed with caution. They distort by virtue of the lack of context. Someitmes it takes consideralbe research to discover the proper context on one's own.

While I greee with jwest, that the Huff Po contains some huffing and puffing, the same is true of many-to-most blogs and the media.

Many of those 'too intelligent' to fall for one case of riffing on a video clip, much too often have not a nano second of qualms about blathering about another for weeks and months on end. .

    Intelligence comes and goes, apparently.
