the Republicans are is irrelevant as Senator McCain. there is no chance that the Repubicans will have any impact on policy as Senator McCain. Of course, I guess the left's work on McCain makes then as much of apologist as the Republicans have been in the past.

It's a little odd he's sort of losing his grip this early; it's not like he's been under the steady pressure and scrutiny that Obama has. I can appreciate this might be creating some forehead slapping moments among “conservatives”, but console yourself, maybe he'll counter those moments with an inspired choice of VP… or maybe Silhouette's hoped for October surprise will put a smile on your face.

I guess talking about McCain prevents the left from talking about how to stop using carbon based fuels without destroying the U.S. economy. I guess talking about the the irrelevant Senator McCain keep the left from nitpicking Senator Obama's foreign policy proposals that are of course self contradictory.

McCain is thinking small, very small. The surge, a single tactic in a too long war is the only thing that matters? Obama seems to be demonstrating a scope of vision that far eclipses McCain's tired “but I wanna win!!” whining. Team America F* Yeah!
