Terrorism can no more be completely erradicated than atomic power used for weapons can be uninvented. We have been looking for victory in Iraq for over 6 years, but it's always on an ever receding horizon. <br>If we can't declare victory over the atomic bomb, then we should stop talking about victory over terrorism.<br><br>While Kristol is corrrect about the historic sumbolism of the statue, he is completely wrong about the ways its site is being used these days.
