Who the hell cares?

In America, 95%+ of those who aren't Independents are Democrats or Republicans. Because we have 2 parties representing around 100 million voters, these parties are both loose coalitions, and on the Republican side, we have so-called Family Values conservatives, libertarians, etc. Phil Gramm – a PhD. in Economics – is an economic libertarian, and he is publicly known as such (even if some liberal can dig up some obscure quote from decades ago which included the phrase “family values” so he can shriek “hypocrisy!”).

Final question: Liberals are typically not over-concerned with a great many moral questions. And if you have no standards, then you're in luck, because then you can never be accused of hypocrisy.

In fact I would dare say that the GOP is more supportive of Democrats views then democrats are. AFter all Obama is this born again, extremely religious, Zionist and McCain only started going to church for appearances sake and hangs around with a Porn star and probably is going to nominate Larry Craig for his running mate and bring Mark Foley back as Attorney General.

I heard McCain is waiting for Bush to pardon Jack Abramoff, uber-lobbyist and gym afficionado, before nominating him for the VP slot. I think that covers all the day's silliness, lol!

But in fact, I would dare to say that the Democrats are more supportive of GOP's views than the GOP is. Atter all, McCain is counting on a quick withdrawal from Iraq to balance the budget, wants comprehensive immigration reform, a carbon cap and trade system, significant health care reform, an enhanced presence in Afghanistan, and earmark reform while Obama is this born again, extremely religious Zionist.

How could anyone vote for a guy who knows a guy who at some point 30 years ago almost invested some money that almost ended up in soft core porn?

On top of that, you just know those evil, limousine riding, private jet flying republicans are going to use the politics of personal destruction dredging up scandals on our beloved Obama.
