Could it be that Amrica is ignoring the dangers of starting another cold war with Russia? Gauging consequences is not a US strong suit. .

Poland is very vulnerable to Russia's expressions of displeasure. And what will the US do to support it in return for Polands's friendship, if Russia exacts a toll? Maybe the House will issue a resolution of condemnation, and that's all.

Poland is tres naive.

Could it be that Poland has just a little experience totalitarianism, and that experience causes it to react soberly when it sees the West confronted with the threat of totalitarian Islam?

Could it be that the intellectuals and elites of Poland - unlike those in our own colleges and those in, e.g., France and Germany, are lacking in BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome)?

Could it be that Poland...likes America?
