David has also posted several gay rights stories.

Cincinnati's National Underground Railroad Freedom Center [http://www.freedomcenter.org/] is lovely but has required repeated bailouts. Will the African-American history museum in DC be able to support itself?

I don't intend this section to only focus on "Black issues", and I'll continue to be on the look out for issues regarding the equal rights of all peoples, including women. I have posted several stories about women's rights in these roundups, including sexual assault in the military, pay discrimination at work, and today statutory rape by a US diplomat in the Congo. But I'm always open to more -- if you've seen a story I've missed, by all means email it to me or post it in the comments!

Maybe as an adjunct to promoting black issues, you could also promote advancements in women's issues.

Maybe Jazz Shaw could be in charge of keeping abreast of women's equality issues?
