However, I wouldn't be surprised if he lost. The hardly any more conservative Rob Simmons lost in 2006 in D2.<br><br>Of course, Shays represents the traditionally conservative part of the state, while Simmons had the misfortune of representing a more liberal part of the state with at least three colleges that were very active politically in 2006.
