Attention libs: NOBODY wants to hear your crap! Why can’t you people understand THAT is the reason Air America has failed? As for President Bush, welcome to the party, pal. Where in the hell have you been the past few years?

This was a post I dug up at the Austin American Statesman. Pretty much sums up the feelings I think of Texans and Conservatives the land over. GWB literally disappeared from the GOP and hid behind the war in Iraq, obsessed with protecting America to the detriment of the entire political process and the demise of his own party.

President Bush and the incompetent in Congress destroyed the short term prospects of the Republican Party. Changing demographics will eliminate in the long term. There is no demand for conservative policies in the U.S. because more than 50% of the population had decided that it can pay itself from the treasury and stick someone else with the bill.

I think the Reagan Administration and both Bush Administration has shown that it is impossible to implement conservative politices when friends and supporters that staffing the government. No one wants to give up any power or have their budget cut. The worst thing the Republicans did was run deficits. If people were paying full retail for government, they would probably demand less of it.

Once again I see a strategy that turns suspiciously towards the democrats version of society but cloaked in Republican clothing.

There is no doubt that the GOP is a mess but I think they need to find their selves in that which is reflective of America. Meaning that a majority of Americans are conservative. They might vote democratic. They might embrace democrats version of things but they in effect have conservative leanings when it comes to family and friends.

The last 2 years and the next 2 years is simply a rejection of the war in Iraq and the war on terror. It is not a rejection of conservative or GOP values. Those advocating the crash and burn theory believe one thing as do I.

The democrats will crash and burn within the next 4 years. The party in power always does.
