The same thing happened in England. It reminds me of how we the underclass our struggling against the tyranny of BigOil.

BigOil is the new King George and the New American Revolution is our little Boston Oil Party where we need to throw the oil in the bay (well not literally…don't worry environmentalists!) and tell BigOil where they can shove it. Instead of drinking tea (oil) we can drink coffee (safe alternatives). It will take some crossover time but the time to start an earnest boycott was about four decades ago. Better late than never.

As we,ve seen he has plenty of soul mates in the Executive Branch.

While I can understand why the well connected would be supportive, those who fall in line without any hope of benefit are puzzling. Is it a kind of virtual power related to hero worship and akin to iidentifying with movie stars?

It's a haughty philosophy that undermines the basis of democracy, no matter how it is explained. To succeed, this system requires an underclass to do the dirty work, while the powerful sit in comfort and safety to pontificate and to reap the benefits.
