The "stupid brat' thing" refers to all those who are so busy fighting yesterday's battles that they fail to take responsibility for how they affect today's and tomorrow's battles.
Actions, as well as inaction, have consequences. Not taking responsiblility for consequences does amount to acting like a spoiled brat. It's certainly not how responsible adults act to safeguard the future of the nation.

Our government beiginning in 2009 will be what 'we, the people, ask it to be by voting or not voting.

I was speaking in generalities. You have to determine the extent to which the shoe fits.

I tend to agree that many of these hard core supporters are supporting Hillary as a name and an idea and do not care about policy or even if the candidate supporters certain things.
It's a cult of personality.
But, there will be alot to answer for if Obama loses due to these selfish and self absorbed people.
And Hillary will be made to pay the price.
On the other hand there is alot of anger in the Obama camp. His supporters feel resentful because this woman kept saying how Obama was too much a rookie to be able to manage anything and yet, she was the one who mismanged her money and spent herself into millions in debt and then, the Obama people are expect to clean up her mess.
Not only that but, many resent the attention given to the dead ender Hillbots and giving them legitimacy which just spurs on their insane logic and hate.

No! It's all about silly women gripped by hormonal anger. They need to take their estrogen, eat some chocolate and maybe go see a good chick flick, cry and wake up to see the wisdom in the democratic party picking Obama as it's CEO.

Well, it's either that or women and men having legitimate anger over seeing a clearly less qualified man be fingered to beat out a clearly more qualified woman for one of the most important positions in the nation this time around: democratic nominee.

The glass ceiling is alive and well. The irony of hearing Obama talk about how all little girls can now see just how far they can go...poor choice of words there friend, when it's evident to everyone that you are less qualified and rose above a more qualified woman.

The real message to little girls, big girls, young and old women, and all the young boys who aren't quite indoctrinated into chauvanism yet is: "don't even bother because as qualified as a woman is, they will always be beat out by a less qualified man and his confederate patronizing supporters. Even when the stakes are as high as they could possibly be, she will still be passed over for a less qualified man.

Yes, what a milestone.

After spending some time reading the domments to pro-Hillary blogs, not just the blogs themselves, I think there is a lot going on besides just anger because of the primary loss.
For example, a number of the still angy are showing the same distrust due to Obama's being 'different' as was shown in many parts of the country.
Some want to bomb Iran.
Many 'progressives' harbor the illusion that Hillary would be more pro-activer on their issues, whereas her voting record is far more conservative than Obama's.in this area.

As is true in any election, there has been a lot of baseless projection going on - imagining that one candidate or the other would champion their own wish-fulfillment list, unedited.

The hawkish and those uncomfortable with Obama's 'difference' will probably vote for McCain.
The rest might just cut off their noses to spite their faces.

Some might actually rediscover what the election is all about.
Who knows what people are capable of.

Did you find it interesting that not one of the alleged disgruntled Clinton supporters spoke on the record, yet the supporters who believed Obama was able to reach them were perfectly happy to be named in the report?
