Much has been made in the past of presidential candidates’ campaign theme songs, but there would be no more appropriate choice for this year’s Republican nominee, John McCain, than the Rolling Stones’ classic, “Time Is on My Side.” Political observers, including your Crystal Ball, are virtually unanimous in their assessment that the prevailing conditions this fall are ideal for sending a Democrat to the Oval Office. We have, however, argued here that McCain can still win, and he has one built-in advantage over his eventual opponent that bears noting–time….

    Uh, yeah....the October surprise just after the careful and methodical revelations of Obama's skeletons in his closet. will be the "time is on McCain's side" factor. I urge democrats to air those skeletons to the Clinton moderates the Obama camp is trying to court to vote for him...because once they see the GOP's depiction of those nefarious traits of Mr. Teflon Unknown, Mr. Teflon Unknown will be seen for the non-minority supporting, waffling, overweening, inexperienced liability that he is to the democratic nomination.

    Ever play poker? You hold your cards and bet the rounds, peeling one card off each round in order to confuse and bluff your opponents. If you're smart, you play lesser, low cards first [this is what the GOP/BigMedia are doing now, but then when the betting gets heavy [when the dem conventioners walk straight into the Obama trap] the big royal cards and aces get played.

    The McCain camp is holding a royal flush with an October suprise wild-card over Obama's two-pair. The rounds and bets have just started. McCain's BigMedia buddies have bluffed the dems into thinking Obama might have a winning hand with those two big pairs of his...

    Meanwhile, Clinton holds five aces. But she's not good enough of a candidate apparently. At least according to BigMedia... :)
