Sue OPEC To Lower Fuel Prices

That’s, at least, what former presidential advisor Thomas Evans boldly called for in a recent op-ed for The New York Times. But you have to wonder what the consequences of such an action might be…and whether or not we can just sue ourselves out of this crisis.

Strange, I always thought lawsuits had a purpose.
What purpose would there be in such a lawsuit that would result in lower oil prices?

Why sue Opec. They only account for roughly 35% of global oil production. And likely less with Indonesia backing out.

It would make more sense to form an "OPIC."

I look forward to a couple dimes less on my gas when the suit is finally settled in 2021.

Uh... we're the junkies here so it's really like us suing our dealer because we want more, more, more and can't afford it.

What's wrong with ending our dependence and addiction? Or is it too hard to do so? It would be a lot easier with some support out there, beginning with leadership from our government.
