		<description>I think both New Labour there and the Republicans here show why one party controlling the government for a long time is never a good idea.  Just as much dissatisfaction as we&#039;re feeling with the Republicans in the executive and did feel with the Republicans in the legislature, I know the Brits are feeling about as much with New Labour over there.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hence why the Conservatives have been doing better and better in recent elections, and why the Democrats were swept back into power (swept in the House, anyway) in Congress here.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;A party in power for so long gets power hungry and corrupt.  I don&#039;t know much about the circumstances that brought about New Labour&#039;s sweep into power, but after a while, people get the hint, just as in both countries people got the feeling the time was ripe for change.</description>
