Just as much dissatisfaction as we're feeling with the Republicans in the executive and did feel with the Republicans in the legislature, I know the Brits are feeling about as much with New Labour over there.<br><br>Hence why the Conservatives have been doing better and better in recent elections, and why the Democrats were swept back into power (swept in the House, anyway) in Congress here.<br><br>A party in power for so long gets power hungry and corrupt. I don't know much about the circumstances that brought about New Labour's sweep into power, but after a while, people get the hint, just as in both countries people got the feeling the time was ripe for change.
