Remember, the GOP suffered a backlash after impeaching the popular Bill Clinton. <br><br> By making it appear that only Bush stood between us and another terrorist attack, the WH won the battle of media spin, and an impeachment attempt of both Cheney and Bush would have been a disaster for the Dems. But that doesn't mean that they didn't richly deserve it for selling the country out to their rich, corporate buddies. I agree with both of you.
