Very thoughtful post.

From reading blogs, I have the impression that the blogosphere has yet to decide what it wants to be. Maybe a better way of putting it would be to say that I don't discern much plannning for what it wants to become.

Not hat every blog has to fit a formula. In fact, I think there is too much clustering and not enough variety. Among political blogs, the vast majority seem to be the equivalent of 547's. or MoveOn.org. Since strong emotons are what appears to draw an audience, I'm wondering how much risk there is that blogs will become just like te worst example of MSM, suffocating the best, most thoughtful.

Just musing.
Like the post says, things are in a state of constant development.
