What I did on my summer vacation: BRAG 2008
The Bicycle Ride Across Georgia:
The Bicycle Ride Across Georgia (BRAG) is an annual road-cycling tour across the US state of Georgia. It began in 1980 as an offshoot of RAGBRAI.
The route covers approximately 400 miles over 7 days with options for longer distances. Mid-week, the tour stays two nights in one town allowing riders to either rest or ride a century with lesser mile options. Rest stops are every 8-15 miles and snacks and drinks are provided to registered riders.
An estimated 1,800 people did the 2008 ride. It left on Saturday, June 7 from Oxford, GA and arrived in St. Simons Island, GA on Saturday, June 14.
My spousal equivalent, Doug, rode his bike. I made this video:
I hope you like it. More here and here.

Very different and cool bike – and I say that as someone who rides a recumbent. He was lucky to be just a mile from a decent bike shop when the wheel went. I once snapped the chain on mine miles from anywhere, and not having a replacement link had a looong walk in front of me, pushing the 'bent the whole way.
Great dogs, too, by the way!
going traveling with bike will be exciting and its really great. we can get more healthy by doing it
