Lets windfall profit tax the oil companies. Oil companies import 63 percent of their oil. They drill for the rest. However if we tax their profits how is that going to change the demand? The supply? Is Exxon going to pump more oil suddenly to make up for a windfall profits tax?

Ummm…………..no. But thats okay. Just like Israel the far left wants to punish those who make them angry. They want a reckoning. They want Israel to pay. They want Exxon to pay. They want the GOP to pay. They want Christians to pay.

They want revenge. Thats not mainstream and its not going to get them very far. But for now it will do. They will stumble into power and they will make the country pay.

The day of reckoning is at hand and they wield the axe. Move over Grim reaper. Michael Moore is fixing to take over for Rush Limbaugh.

No. I'm not so sure that they hate Israel. I have said in the past that they blame Israel for the unstablility in the Middle East and want to see them pay. They want a reckoning.

We talk of the Black vote. Blacks will turn out for Obama 90-10 percent. if that is not a bloc of voters following a predefined path then I don't know what is.

By and large and this is always what has annoyed the Democrats the Jewish voter turns out for the democrats on election day. But they have always turned out for the old democrats. The democrats of our fathers who were very moved by Israels plight and were their friends. The far left is not nor have they ever been lockstep in tune with the Israeli plight nor do they favor Israel over the Palestinians as did the old democratic vote.

Everytime I bring up the far left and their dealings I get the same rebuttals by the same two characters who would have you believe that the far left is a delusion in my mind. It has been an interesting couple of years in which the far left has actually convinced people that they have the best interests of this nation at heart when in reality they are making the same mistake that all fringe groups make………….a vote against someone else is not an endorsement of your own misguided politics.

The minute you say 'the 'Jewish vote' you are creating the image of a lock-step bloc-vote stereotype. Consequently, when resistance rises to being hemmed in by the 'Jewish vote', all Jews are held responsible. It creates misconceptions on all sides.

The same is true about the'black vote'.
There is power, legitimste power, in unified minority votes, but there is also the danger of creating stereotypes against which other groups rebel, as they compete.for power.
If this turns into a contest between the 'black vote' and the 'Jeiwsh vote', it will damge both groups, plus everyone else.

I think as the election process wears on that the Jewish bloc will begin to see and understand the undeniable power that the far left is wielding in the Obama campaign.

What's the implication here? Stop tip toeing around and say what you really mean.

In years past the far left has always been there but they have always had little impact in the issues or more precisely what impact they did have was able to be minimized by the Jewish bloc in order to maintain the essential ties to the democratic party which on substance more closely mirrors the views of the Jewish people by and large.

However during this election they are going to get a taste of a far left running out of control. with no resemblance of a far right to counter balance them. With a weak GOP who will try to paint Obama as liberal and fail because right now the people don't care if Obama is a Viking. They just want change. However the Jewish people have interests that are literally life and death and they will come to fear the campaign of Barak Obama.

That being said I predict that Obama will have a hard time holding the jewish vote. I think he will hold some of it but that a good 1/2 of it will ebb over to McCain as they are not aghast at Obama so much as they will be aghast at the far left driving his campaign.

Does this mean Obama loses the election. NO. Nothing can make Obama lose this election. The GOP is so hopelessly demoralized by a president who was so obsessed with making sure America was safe that he forgot to even talk to those he was protecting and forgot to that he was also in charge of the GOP during his stay in the White House

So there is no way that Obama does not win this campaign and become the next president. However he will do so with some groups that are concerned.

The Jewish voter will be one of those groups.

This kind of thing was also evident in the primaries. When votes are analyzed according to demographics, it provides useful; information.
However, it also creates stereotypes, We are left with an impression of a country divided by uncrossable barriers between competing groups.

So, yes, I think the 'Jewish vote' will be important. I don't look forward to the announcement in headlines, though.
