As the professor I once had, who had fled from the Soviet Union and smuggled slides out of the country with him told us (he gave us a slide show during finals week, and despite the final exams the room used for the slide show was overflowing), a typical old-fashioned housewife new to the USA from the Soviet Union would go into a typical supermarket, look, and faint.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;To each their own.  My favorite restaurant in St. Louis offers organic and locally produced food.  (Pete, it&#039;s Riddle&#039;s on the Loop.)</description>
