The Abramoff scandal is far more complicated then i ever could have thought. It appears that John McCain may have a larger part then anyone once thought. I’ve been Youtubing a lot lately and found some videos starring Gary Chafetz

I think we have to separate some wheat from the chaff here.

it doesn't much matter how many times Bush said 'hello' to Abramoff.
What matters is the subjects and results of those staff meeeitngs, especially with high level staff like Rove.

I'm not sure what 'billing clients for favors done for WH staff means. Abramoff had a very creative way of billing for anyhting and everything.

All I'm saying is that I hope Waxman stays very close to what can proved and resisits throwing out wild allegations.
If the WH can disprove some fringe item, tey'll use it to disparage the whole picture.
