I pray that Hillary supporters will embrace Barack Obama. If she can endorse Obama and declare she'll vote for him November I can't see many of her supporters crossing the line to vote for McBush. Many times Hillary has said it doesn't matter if it's her or Barack in the White House as long as it's a democrat. She and Bill will campaign as hard for Obama as they did for her.

I had difficulties deciding between the two myself. Ultimately, I broke for Hillary (early in the primaries) and helped my daughter choose between Hillary and Barack (she chose Barack). I'm as proud to vote for the first African American as I would have been proud to vote for the first woman for President of the USA. It's a shame the timing included both and we can only vote for one. With either candidate the “Real America” wins.

This is great news. The party can now unite. Some hardcore Hillary supporters won't support Obama. But Hillary Clinton herself can minimize that number greatly by signaling where her heart lies. Obama will do his part to reach out to Clinton's supporters, listen to their concerns, and treat them with respect. I'm confident with the primary over that he will do that.

For example: first stop for Obama tomorrow morning? Bristol, Virginia. It's the heart of Southern Appalachia. It's a county that went 69-30 for Clinton. He's hosting a town hall meeting so he can come here to Appalachia and let voters get to know him. That's a great sign.

Her logical end is at the convention. She can do a big speech there, and it's her swan song and grand finale, four years after Obama-Out-Of-Nowhere gave his speech at the convention that put him on the map. (Will Obama express delight and amazement at Clinton's speech if it's good or will he further the opposite direction their paths have taken and view and respond to it solemly and calmly in recognition of its being her exit four years after his entrance?)
