		<description>I wouldn&#039;t confidently predict a substantial McCain vote by Dem voters anywhere this year, and that would be more true than ever in Oregon.  (Eastern Oregon is conservative, but the population is concentrated in the western part of the state, as in Washington to the north, and the large metro areas in Oregon are notoriously liberal and Democratic.  Washington is not much different; they voted for Murray and Cantwell, after all.)</description>
