    John Edwards I will never support you again for your endorsement of a looser like Obama. You just help to elect John McClain. You should just go away.

    I'd be surprised if he gets much of a bounce. In the vast majority of cases all a big name endorsement will get you is a day or two of positive press coverage. Ted Kennedy's endorsement seemed to do a lot more despite Obama's loss in MA, as the press coverage of that was enormous with everyone speculating that Obama was the next JFK. That actually saw to a fairly big bump in the national polls and helped him stay neck and neck with Clinton in Super Tuesday. No endorsement before or since has appeared to have any meaningful impact in election results as far as I can tell.

    I already dispensed with the issue of this “impact” [sic; EFFECT!] Now everyone's waiting for Gore to make his own big (bigger) announcement. That'll really excite the kiddies. (I hope Gore waits until the convention, at the climax of his speech.)
