John Darkow, Columbia Daily Tribune, Missouri

UPDATE by JG: So far there’s no indication that Clinton feels its over. She’s meeting with donors today and is making the rounds of a large number of television news programs on all the networks. Her victory speech in West Virginia vowed to fight on and angered some progressives because they felt she mischaracterized the race (here’s an example of that reaction).

Other pundits felt her speech indicated that what she really wants now is to run as Obama’s Vice Presidential candidate. Still others it indicated she could still battle all the way to the convention.

Here’s her victory speech. You decide:

You should all check out my amateur cartoon at Why We Worry :-D

And shouldn't the joke with Darkow's cartoon be that Bill isn't there at 3a.m.?

Thanks for putting the speech up Joe. I missed it last night.

It was a decent speech if you divorce it from the mathematical reality. Hillary Clinton's once admirable determination now seems more like delusion.

Let's see, Teddy the Fat carried his '80 campaign all the way to the convention floor while behind by 700 delegates. The media back then was delusional about the Kennedy myth and disliked the peanut farmer, so hardly a peep.

Now, the Obamaniac MSM hisses and moans because Hillary won't cave before a reincarnation of Peanuts Gee-mah, all smile and nothing else, just because of some other component.

    What would that be?

Whatever it is, I'm laying my money on McCain, unless Hillary gets the VP slot!
