That's the nicest endorsement the Ohio Dems have probably had in a while. The media here has been trying to say that they are too swift, too stupid, too hypocritical – seriously – it's ridiculous.

I feel that the political leaders have acted, finally, very appropriately – more on the Dems side than the GOP, but they too for the most part acted well. They were indicating that they might let the impeachment procedure drag on endlessly re: the way they wrote the legislation that appoints an independent investigator. But hopefully that loophole will be closed up.

And there are also people who speculate that Dann had dirt on others or would fabricate it (according to the Columbus Dispatch over the weekend) but that others had dirt on others and so on and so on.

Sigh. There's no easy way to say it, but I'm glad for him and I'm glad for Ohio. He really should have done this a week and a half ago – truly for himself and his family, as well as for Ohio.
