Talking about how other people's wives should deal with their husbands can be entertaining, like other forms of gossip.

Expecting them to conform to one's judgement is a form of pop psychology I dont' appreciate.

Well, some political wives may choose to remain loyal to their straying husbands, I do agree that its refreshing to see an unscripted reaction once in a while.

I am not about to sit in judgement of them morally, but it does indicate a weakness in making personal choices, which could also be the way they make choices that affect all of us. Many conservative politicians seem to advocate family values, and then proceed to destroy their own families without a second thought. That is the very definition of hypocrisy.

I've actually stopped caring about my politician's affairs. It's between him and his wife and family. He could still be a great congressman or a lousy congressman. No idea. As for the tax payer funded trips, are they legit or not? If no one would write an article if his wife was on the trip, then I don't care if it was his long-time girlfriend or 7 women he picked up from watching Girls Gone Wild videos. It's only a bit relevant if he's also using his legislative power to restrict the affairs of average citizens. Then revealing the hypocrisy is more relevant.
