Peter Jackson could and should be the one to do “The Hobbit” but TWO MOVIES?!?

Tolkien's “The Hobbit” was the best of the entire series because it was short and sweet… Stretching out to two movies would destroy the story and for what?.. To sell two tickets instead of one?
