Could be she tries to run a campaign like Clinton's in 1996 (exploiting an opponent, McCain, who has the weakest appeal and support since Dole in 1996).

He wants “you” to be the nominee. Now, why? Because in this case, she's seen as less likely to defeat McCain because her negatives are seen (by Limbaugh and other parties) as worse than Obama's. (This includes a history of outrageous conduct by her, which drove a reviled US public to vote hugely Republican in 1994.)

If Limbaugh is running a vote drive for you doesn't that tell you anything? Although I do get your point, he feels that McCain has a better chance with her as the nominee so he's trying to arrange that.

And I think he is right, Clinton will run the same type of campaign that lost Kerry and Gore the elections. Basically, pandering to the most recent polls and telling the base what they want to hear. Unfortunately the GOP is way better at that than Dems are, which is why Gore and Kerry, lost. She will do just the same and lose for the same reason.
