One of the the things that happens as you age is the iconic figures from your past die or worse.
Glen Campbell Moved Into A Care Facility
Glen Campbell has been moved into a care facility three years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, People.com reports.
“He was moved to an Alzheimer’s facility last week,” a family friend told the title. “I’m not sure what the permanent plan is for him yet. We’ll know more next week.”
The singer, whose “Rhinestone Cowboy” topped the charts in 1975, had been suffering from short-term memory loss in recent years. He was diagnosed withAlzheimer’s disease in early 2011.
I enjoyed the songs by Glen Campbell in the 70s and owned several of his albums, still vinyl back then. He had a deep but mellow voice that seemed to sooth the soul. Good luck Glen Campbell and may this nightmare not last too long.
