Poliiics is controversial.&lt;br&gt;Mix  all three,  and progress is bound to be very bumpy.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Religion is the thorniest obstacle, because  anyone can claim to have God on their side, and people do just that.  In reality,it&#039;s a conflict between tradition and progress.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Maybe there is comfort in remembering how long  it took for other societal changes to take hold:  civil rights for blacks, women&#039;s suffrage, etc.</description>
